Have you heard of the incriminating videos exposing Planned Parenthood for selling fetal body parts? Only caught part of the story? Well, this article will quickly catch you up and update you on the latest shocking development.
In a stunning maneuver Friday, July 31, 2015, Federal Judge Willliam Orrick in San Francisco issued a temporary restraining order which blocked the release of further videos by the Center for Medical Progress. David Daleiden, Project Lead, Center for Medical Progress claims there are 8-10 more videos to be released. Daleiden also mentioned they are prepared to deal with the silencing effort. Planned Parenthood is a shrewd opponent and won’t surrender it’s lucrative abortion business without a struggle.
David Daleiden told Bill O’Reilly that his people were deeply embedded into Planned Parenthood and they heard top leadership and affiliates say that they profited from selling fetal body parts many times.
Daleiden explained why the Center for Medical Progress infiltrated Planned Parenthood to the highest levels. He said that, “The goal of this project was a two and a half year investigative report and journalism study to document and illustrate for the public exactly how Planned Parenthood harvests and sells aborted baby parts.” He also said that Planned Parenthood used illegal procedures to harvest and sell fetal tissue for profit.
From the very first video we learned that Planned Parenthood has most likely been practicing the federally banned procedure of partial birth abortion. The second, third, and fourth videos are also highly incriminating. Check them out for yourself:
In the first video, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, Senior Director of Medical Services at Planned Parenthood admits that partial birth abortion is illegal. Then she describes how they circumvent the law.
Planned Parenthood has employed several rebuttals and counter attacks. They have successfully enlisted news agencies to characterize the Center for Medical Progress videos as “misleading and heavily edited.” Planned Parenthood denies any wrongdoing and claims they do not profit by selling fetal body parts. They claim the money is only for necessary handling, storage and transportation fees. Daleiden charges that the middle-man bio companies do all the work collecting fetal body parts so there is no expense to Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood claims their staff does the work. They also successfully obtained a temporary restraining order against more video releases until the hearing on August 19. One of the few concessions from Planned Parenthood was an apology for the callous-sounding tone in the videos. Never mind that they traumatize women by taking the lives of their innocent unborn babies.
Even though the mainstream media coverage is still scant, African-American Democratic State Representative Bill Putnam from Ohio has introduced legislation in his state to defund Planned Parenthood. Several other states are attempting to defund also. He strongly advocates protesting Planned Parenthood. He criticizes that about half of all abortions kill women. He also points out that the African American community receive the greatest percentage of abortions.
Another devastating testimony against the abortion industry is that of former Planned Parenthood Director Abby Johnson. She says that Planned Parenthood does not do prenatal care and does not counsel regarding adoption. There’s no money in it. Abby says her boss directly told her that they sell abortions and that their goal is increased revenue. I personally heard Abby speak at the University of New Mexico where she said that 98% of the girls that walked through the door of her Planned Parenthood were sold abortions.
Planned Parenthood is horrific. I believe we will look back on the period starting with Roe v Wade with utter embarrassment. It will be like studying slavery in America. Unfortunately, like slavery, we will be healing the wounds for generations to come. Planned Parenthood has ardent supporters at all levels of American life. Will we continue to allow them to hurt women and kill babies? Or will these videos be the catalyst for the church and our society to stand up and finally join together and say “enough”?
